Our machines
Tauzin offers a wide range of automatic cut-to-length machines for different types of material, such as pipes, ducts, plastic rods, PVC, rubber and metal braids. Our machines are available in a variety of configurations to meet the specific needs of each customer.
Our technologies
VIEW
The vision camera is one of the most reliable control tools currently available on the control sensor market.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of applications:
- Dimensional control : checking the dimensions of the product before or after cutting
- Angular position control: control of the correct positioning of the product to be cut on the feed belt or control of the positioning of an object on the product (example: logo on a label holder)
- Reading character strings or barcodes
- Datamatrix reading
- Appearance control: Recognition of holes, scratches or stains on the product
- Presence check: Verification of the presence of an object on the product (ex : logo on a label).
This sensor enables non-contact end-of-product detection.
As long as the product to be cut passes under the sensor beam, the cutting machine carries out its cycle.
As soon as there is no more product to cut, the sensor sends the “end of product” message to the PLC. The cycle stops and an “end of product” warning message appears on the touch screen.
Either you re-supply the machine with product and restart the cycle where it left off. Or stop the cycle for good.

ONLINE MAINTENANCE
This option allows us to work on the PLC program remotely. All you have to do is plug your machine into a telephone socket and we’ll retrieve the program for :
- Check the variables required for the machine to operate correctly
- Carry out a cutting test to check the cylinder sensors
- Check that a cycle is running correctly
- Testing the loop detector
- Develop the programme if necessary
This technology enables us to make an initial diagnosis of your cutting machine without having to travel and with a minimum of constraints on your production.
PIVOTING CUTTING HEADS
Cutting cycle two-position angular mode :
- Make a clean cut with the blade in position 1″/”
- Start the cutting cycle after programming the cycle characteristics
- Product feed for length L1
- Stop feed, rotate blade to position 2″/” then cut
- Product feed for length LC Stop feed,
- Rotate blade to position 1″/” then cut
- Product feed for length L2
- Stop feed, rotate blade to position 2″/” then cut
- Product feed for length LC
- Stop feed, rotate blade to position 1″/” then cut
The cutting positions and successive feeds enable seals to be cut from a frame immediately.
